Release and Indemnification Agreement:

Good Somerville, LLC (hereinafter referred to as “GOOD SOMERVILLE”) urges all participants of the Go Adventure with Purpose Event (hereinafter referred to as “GAWP”) or any others observing the event, to conduct themselves in such a manner as to protect not only their own safety but also the safety of others. Each participant is required to follow all applicable local, state, and Federal laws. GOOD SOMERVILLE further requires that each participant agree to this Release and Indemnification Agreement (hereinafter referred to as “Agreement”) prior to taking part in GAWP.

 

As a registered participant, I affirm that I am eighteen (18) years of age or older and have voluntarily elected to participate in GAWP or have received parental approval to participate. I agree to personally supervise all children accompanying me in GAWP at all times. I acknowledge and agree that the nature of GAWP may expose me to hazards or risks that may result in my illness, personal injury, or death. I understand and assume the nature of such hazards and risks of GAWP.

 

In consideration of my participation in GAWP, I accept all risks to my health such as injury or death that may result from my participation. Further, I release GOOD SOMERVILLE, its governing board, officers and representatives from any liability to me and my personal representatives, estate, heirs, next of kin, and assigns for any and all claims and causes of action for loss of or damage to my property and for any and all illnesses or injuries to my person, including death, that may result from or occur during my participation in GAWP, whether caused by the negligence of, its governing board, officers, or representatives, or otherwise. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless, GOOD SOMERVILLE and its governing board, officers, and representatives from any liability for the injury or death of any person(s) and damage to property that may result from my negligent or intentional act or omission which participating GAWP.

I fully understand that my participation in GAWP is purely voluntary. I also understand that GAWP may take place both on and off public sidewalks and streets and agree to not trespass on private property or access any locations that are closed off to the public. I agree to act in a reasonable and prudent manner under all circumstances.

 

I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS AGREEMENT AND UNDERSTAND IT TO BE A RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS AND CAUSES OF ACTION FOR MY INJURY OR DEATH OR DAMAGE TO MY PROPERTY THAT OCCUR WHILE PARTICIPATING IN GAWP. BY AGREEING TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE MY REGISTRATION OBLIGATES ME TO RELEASE AND INDEMNIFY THE PARTIES NAMED ABOVE FOR ANY LIABILITY FOR INJURY OR DEATH OF ANY PERSON AND DAMAGE TO PROPERTY CAUSED BY MY NEGLIGENT OR INTENTIONAL ACT OR OMISSION. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND CONTRACT BETWEEN THE PARTIES HERETO, AND I HAVE REGISTERED OF MY OWN FREE WILL.

This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for www.goodsomerville.com. This privacy policy applies solely to information collected by this web site. It will notify you of the following:

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship prize.
